YouTube Reborn is a prominent enhancement developed by Lillie to augment the functionality of the YouTube app for jailbroken devices. This tweak introduces a plethora of new customization options for the default YouTube app on iOS. YouTube Reborn 5.0 has been released and is compatible with iOS 15 – iOS 17 on YouTube v19+.
YouTube Reborn v4.2 was precompiled with YouTube version 18.40. You can download the YouTube Reborn IPA from the links provided below. YouTube Reborn v5.0 has not been officially released yet; however, I have compiled the tweak from sources for arm and arm64 architectures.
What is YouTube Reborn?
YouTube Reborn is a free jailbreak tweak that adds a host of useful configuration options to the YouTube app on iOS. This tweak empowers users to remove all ads from videos, enable background playback or iPad Style on iPhone, modify the app menu, and even activate picture-in-picture mode on iOS 15.
The latest releases of this tweak offer rootless support for jailbreaks like Dopamine and Palera1n. However, YouTube Reborn v5.0 will support iOS 15 – iOS 17 and YouTube v19+.
Once installed, the YouTube Reborn tweak seamlessly integrates into the App Store version of YouTube and adds a new icon to the top navigation bar of the app, located next to the play icon. By clicking on this newly added icon, you can easily access a range of new options. YouTube Reborn for iOS can enable free YouTube Premium features.
YouTube Reborn offers numerous options to choose from, so the developer has thoughtfully organized them into several separate sections. These sections include Video Options, Overlay Options, Tab Bar Options, Color Options, Picture-in-Picture Options, Shorts Options, SponsoredBlock Options, Miscellaneous Options, and Reborn Settings.
YouTube Reborn Tweak
YouTube Reborn provides a multitude of customization options that allow you to enhance your YouTube experience in various ways. With this tweak, you can disable ads, enable background playback, allow HD on mobile data, autoplay in full-screen mode, disable end-screen pop-ups, turn off video info cards and autoplay, disable double-tap to skip, hide channel watermarks, hide the heatwave progress bar, and enable additional speed options.
Besides the numerous customization options mentioned above, YouTube Reborn also offers users the ability to make several other modifications to the app’s interface.
For example, this tweak can enable iPad Style list view on iPhone, hide the play button, notification button, and search button, disable YouTube Kids and suggestions, and even hide the YouTube logo.
Additionally, you can control SponsorBlock options. Turn off or automatically skip tangents, previews, outros, intros, interactions, self-promotion, and sponsored screens.
The YouTube Reborn tweak also provides options to change the YouTube app’s background color, select the startup page, and hide selected tabs such as Shorts, Explore, Library, or Subscriptions.

How to Install the YouTube Reborn Jailbreak Tweak
YouTube Reborn is released as a free tweak through Lillie’s private repository. However, since the repository is no longer available, you can now install the YouTube Reborn package manually. Once installed, this tweak gives you access to a range of customization options, including the ability to enable free YouTube Premium on iOS 14 – iOS 15.
To install the YouTube Reborn tweak on your device using Sileo, follow these steps:
- Open the Sileo app from the Home Screen.
- Tap on the Sources tab, then select the Edit button.
- Download the YouTube Reborn tweak for your device.
- Share the downloaded DEB file with the Sileo app.
- Tap on “GET” and install the YouTube Reborn package.
- Access the YouTube Reborn settings from the YouTube app.
